The Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan has directed the concerned authorities to expedite the speed of work on the projects of coastal tourism centers in the province.

He said that Allah Almighty has blessed the province with immense natural resources and we can attract tourists both from within the country and abroad in the tourist centers in the coastal and other areas of the province.

The Chief Minister was presiding over the meeting on the progress of the development projects of the Balochistan Coastal Development Authority and other related matters, here on Friday.

Those who attended the meeting were included: Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Secretaries of various government departments including Finance, Local Government, PHE, Environment, Tourism, Roads and Information besides other concerned high ups.

Director-General BCDA, Babar Khan briefed the meeting about the related projects.

He on the occasion informed that the master planning of the coastal line is being done under the BCDA.

The feasibility study of five fish landing sites, construction of echo tourism and seven echo tourist resorts as well as other projects are being prepared, it was further informed.

Other projects are included nine resting areas on the coastal highway, eight floating jetties and five beach parks besides others in Gadani, Kund Malir, Ormara, Pasni, Gwadar, Jeewani and Miani hor.

It was also informed that the tourists’ attention would also be acquired by providing them the facilities of water sports.

The Chief Minister on the occasion directed the concerned authorities to review the existing composition of the governing body of BCDA besides submitting recommendations to make amendments in its Act.
