Comprehensive Policy Being Prepared To Produce Energy & Promote Tourism: CM

Jam Kamal Says This is High Time to Bring Reforms in Institutions; BCDA To Be Put On Modern Lines  

 

 

The Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan has stated that his government is preparing a comprehensive policy to produce energy and promote tourism by utilizing 700 kilometer long coast of the province.

The implementation on the policy would put the province’s economy on sound lines.

This, the Chief Minister stated while addressing a meeting to review the matters of Balochistan Coastal Development Authority (BCDA) here on Monday.

The special Assistant of Chief Minister, Mir Abdul Rauf Rind, Mir Umair Muhammad Hassani, Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development, Abdul Rehman Buzdar, Director General of BCDA, Babar Khan and other concerned high ups were also present in the meeting.

The DG BCDA briefed the meeting about affairs of the Authority.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that our long coast can play an important role in development of the province’s economy.

He said that with promotion of tourism and production of the energy, the economic activities would get a tremendous boost in the province.

Jam Kamal stressed that it is high time to bring reforms in the institutions. He said that we need to enforce such a system through which the general public may have far reaching results.

He also pointed out towards the several tourism places along the coast of Balochistan including in the areas of Gadani, Jewani, Kund Malir and Haft Talar Iceland.

He said that the issues being faced by BCDA would be resolved and put it on modern lines so as to achieve the objectives of its establishment.
