Flag hoisting at Quaid’s Residency: We have to value Pakistan playing due role for its development and safety, says CM
Jam Kamal calls for unity among all ranks to foil nefarious designs of enemies which are conspiring to weaken us; puts emphasis on youth not to underestimate them
The Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan has stated that Pakistan is a great gift of Allah Almighty for us and as such it is direly needed to value it and we have to play our due role for its development and protection.
This and similar other views were expressed by the Chief Minister while speaking at the flag hoisting ceremony held at the lawns of Quaid-e-Azam Residency in Ziarat on Wednesday afternoon.
The ceremony marked the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
The Deputy Speaker National Assembly, Qasim Khan Suri, Commander Southern Command, Lt. General Waseem Ashraf, Inspector General of Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan (North), Major General Syed Fayyaz Hussain Shah, Provincial Ministers, Senators, parliamentarians, tribal and political personalities and students of Loralai University and other institutions were present in the ceremony.
The Chief Minister hoisted the national flag along with the Commander SC and IG FC at the Residency.
Addressing the ceremony, the Chief Minister said that today is the day to pay tributes to the Father of Nation Quaid-e-Azam, who changed the dream of an independent and sovereign state for Muslims of the sub-continent into reality with an unprecedented leadership and political wisdom facing the challenges of the era.
He said that Quaid-e-Azam had once said that if we adopted a right path then we could be able to cope with every challenge.
Basically, Pakistan was dream of Allah Muhammad Iqbal, which was turned into reality by Quaid-e-Azam, he maintained.
He said that thoughts of Quaid-e-Azam are worth following and by pursuing them, we can put the country on path of development.
The Chief Minister said that we have to be proud of our country and nation and learn from the guidance of our elders.
He said that the youngsters are future builders and they are also the ray of hope for us. He called on the youth not to underestimate them and must be proud of them. He said that we have to change our lives mobilizing our resources.
He said that there are the enemies of the country, who want to weaken us. However, we can foil the nefarious designs of our enemies with unity.
If we committed negligence even today, then the circumstances could worsen in future, adding the Chief Minister feared.
He stressed that we have to correct the circumstances of the country and province at our own and has to develop our areas together.
He said that we are custodians of a great civilization and culture, which is needed to be highlighted very proudly.
He said that Allah Almighty has blessed us with numerous resources and qualities, the unique geography and many more. We need to develop our beautiful country as per the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
Deputy Speaker National Assembly, Qasim Suri, Commander Southern Command, Lt. General Waseem Ashraf, IG FC Fayyaz Hussain Shah also addressed the ceremony.
The children of various schools presented tableaus depicting different cultures and traditions on the occasion. Performance of the children was highly appreciated by all those present on the occasion.
The renowned folk singer, Akhtar Chanal also performed and sang his famous songs.
