Former President NDU calls on CM: We need to bring improvement in mechanism for progress of Balochistan: Jam Kamal

 

The former President of National Defense University (NDU), Lt. General (Retd) Amir Riaz called on the Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan here on Monday.

During the meeting, the matters of mutual interest were discussed.

Talking to the former President NDU, who also once served the Commander Southern Command, the Chief Minister said that the province has suffered a lot of hardships and weaknesses in the past. The people of province have faced tough time. We have also lacked the human resource, he added.

The Chief Minister on the occasion said that there is a dire need to improve the mechanism for development of the province.

The provincial government is paying wholehearted attention to develop mechanism in the province, Jam Kamal Khan maintained.

He said that we might not lacking the resources but we need to better utilization of resources of the province, adding he stressed.

He also said that Balochistan has very much potential to progress. He said that we are pursuing the policy of mobilizing resources of the province for development of the province and its people.

He referred to the Livestock Expo organized recently in the province. He said that it was a successful event which attracted a lot of investors.

The Chief Minister also spoke at length about various projects being executed in different sectors.

The former President of NDU expressed best wishes for success of the province.
