Wahdat-e-Islami Mardam Afghanistan Party calls on Chief Minister
Jam Kamal Khan hopes economic, trade, political and public relations between Pak and Afghanistan would increase further in time to come
A delegation of the parliamentarians belonging to Wahdat-e-Islami Mardam Afghanistan Party called on the Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan here on Wednesday.
The delegation was led by the Party’s head, Haji Muhammad Muhaqiq. The provincial Ministers were also present on the occasion.
It may be mentioned here that the delegation is on the goodwill visit of Pakistan these days. The visit is aimed at promoting bilateral relations between the two countries of Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Welcoming the delegation from the neighbouring country, the Chief Minister said that there are centuries long relations exist between the two countries.
Although there have been ups and down in the relations between the two countries, but still we expect good from their leadership, the Chief Minister said.
He said that the leadership of two countries would take the bilateral relations to that extent that would be exemplary.
The Chief Minister also said that the good relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan would surely benefit their people economically and thus would help address the issues of poverty and backwardness.
Jam Kamal Khan believed that at the time when the economic relations increase between the neighbouring countries, it surely brings peace and prosperity. And when the relations are not good, then difference and gulf widened, he added.
He stressed that we need to make better decisions in view of the future needs and prevailing situation.
He said that the role of Afghanistan is very important in the TAPI Gas pipeline project, CPEC route and access to the central Asian States.
He on the occasion believed that the day is not far away when the economic, trade, political and public relations would increase between the two countries and these would be exemplary for the entire world.
