CM wishes many happy returns of Christmas to Christians’ community

The Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan has extended heartfelt felicitation to the Christian community on their festive occasion of Christmas.

In a felicitation message issued marking the Christmas on Tuesday, the Chief Minister said that the day being observed in connection with the birth anniversary of Holy prophet Essa (A.S) is also important for the Muslims and as such they (Muslims) also share the joys of the Christian community.
He underlined the need to spread the message of peace and harmony of Hazrat Essa (A.S) to counter the threats of terrorism and law and order issues throughout the world.

The Chief Minister also said that the Christian community is using its potential for development of the country and nation. The role of Christian community is appreciable in this regard, he maintained.

He also referred to the steps being taken for protection of rights of all the minorities including Christians saying that the implementation is being made on quota allocated for the minorities in civil service.

Moreover, the minorities are enjoying complete freedom to offer their religious rituals all over the country including Balochistan, which is unprecedented in the world, he maintained.

He urged the Christian community to include those peoples in the celebrations, who can’t afford to celebrate the festive occasion.

He also called on them to offer special prayers for stability and prosperity of the country and nation on occasion of Christmas.
