About Department

The Labour & Manpower Department Government of Balochistan  was Established in 1984 with the aim to protect the rights of labours, and impart of vocational & technical training to the youth of Balochistan and to provide welfare to the Secured workers.

Direct Welfare Schemes for Workers

Workers, their children and their legal heirs (as the case may be) are being extended financial assistance for Marriage Grant, Death Grant and Scholarships.

  • Marriage Grant:Every workers is entitled for the Marriage grant of his each daughters @ 50000/-.
  • Death Grant:Legal heirs of deceased workers are entitle of Death Grant @ Rs.2,00,000/-.
  • Scholarships:Children of workers who secure 45% marks are entitled for Scholarships at the rates mentioned below

About Balochistan Employees Social Security Institution (BESSI)

Provides Social Security Benefits with Particular Emphasis upon Medical and Health Facilities to the Secured Workers of notified Establishments.

About Balochistan Technical Education and Vocational Training

In the year 2006, Hon’ble Prime Minister advised that Provincial Governments may establish TEVTAs to harmonize “Technical Education and Vocational Training (TEVT)” with changing circumstances.
