Formally inaugurates immunization drive: Jam Kamal calls for making anti-polio campaign more effective, result oriented
The Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan formally inaugurated the polio-immunization campaign in the province by administering anti-polio vaccine to the children in District Headquarter Hospital, Gandhawa on Monday.
The Chief Minister reached the hospital along with the Provincial Ministers Nawabzada Tariq Magsi and Mir Arif Jan Muhammad Hassani and MNA Mir Khaid Khan Magsi and MPA Mir Sikandar Umrani. He went round of various departments of the Hospital and reviewed the facilities available for the patients there.
Jam Kamal was also briefed by the Secretary Health about the anti-polio campaign launched throughout the province on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister directed to the concerned that it must be ensured that none of the children is deprived of the anti-polio vaccination during the campaign this time.
He reiterated the government’s resolve to achieve the goal of making the province free of polio.
He said that we want to ensure future of the children healthy. He also stressed the need to make the anti-polio drive most successful with the national spirit.
He said that the cooperation of parents, religious leaders and civil society is unavoidable to make the campaign successful.
He also had interaction with the doctors and other medical staff of the District Headquarter Hospital of Gandhawa.
Talking to them, the Chief Minister said that it is also responsibility of the doctors along with government to provide basic health facilities to the masses. In this regard, no carelessness should be done, adding he stressed.
He also assured to the doctors that their issues would be resolved. He directed to the Secretary Health to provide medicines and medical equipment in the Hospital.
