CM Talent Hunt be launched soon: Talented players of Balochistan to be sent out to UAE, friendly countries for coaching: Jam Kamal Khan

The Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan has stated that the talented players of different sports would be sent out to United Arab Emirates (UAE) and other friendly countries for training and coaching. In this regard, the letters would be dispatched to ambassadors of these countries by him.

He was addressing the meeting held to review development and promotion of sports in the province here on Tuesday. The Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs, Imran Gichki briefed the Chief Minister about various related matters.

The Chief Minister on the occasion said that funds have been allocated for holding the sports competitions as per the sports calendar.

He directed to the sports department to hold the Balochistan Sports Festival as well as sports galas at the divisional level.

He said that while the sports complex is being constructed at the district level, the basic objective behind it is to provide desired opportunities and facilities to the players of different sports and give them exposure.

He said that there’s no dearth of talent in sports persons of the province, what they need is to provide them proper training, coaching and facilities to excel.

In this regard, coaching and training would be arranged for sports persons in swimming and other games getting cooperation of the friendly countries, he maintained.

He said that as population of the country comprises 60 percent youth, therefore, we need to give them the right direction by providing them the quality education and training so that they are able to show excellent performance in both the sectors.

Jam Kamal directed to Secretary Sports to launch the Chief Minister Talent Hunt Programme at the earliest.

He on the occasion appreciated performance of the women and men teams of Balochistan in throw ball event directing to introduce the game at divisional level especially in the coastal areas.

He also directed to bring improvement in syllabus of College for Physical Education as well as to set up Physical Education colleges at divisional level.
