Chief Minister pledges to keep going process of development in Balochistan

The Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan has expressed his government’s resolve to keep on the process of development in the province in an effective manner so as to bring overall improvement in it’s economic situation.

This, he stated while addressing a meeting to review the proposed shipyard development project in Gwadar on Wednesday.

The Minister of State Defence Production , Ms. Zubaida Jalal, provincial Minister for Revenue, Mir Saleem Ahmed Khosa, Chief Secretary, Captain (Retd) Fazeel Asghar besides the concerned federal and provincial governments high ups were present in the meeting.

Ms. Zubaida Jalal briefed the Chief Minister about the proposed project of Gwadar shipyard.

Addressing the meeting, the Chief Minister said that the government is taking serious steps for promotion of investment in the province. The initiatives being taken would not only help improve economy of the province but they would also provide ample job opportunities casting positive impacts on the whole province.

He said that the wholehearted attention is also being paid towards improving human resource as well as the technical education and skill development so as to achieve the desired results in this regard.

He also assured that the government would consider in detail all aspects of the proposed project and in this regard, the memorandum of understanding would be presented in the provincial cabinet meeting for approval.
