Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan has said that the long coastline and sea production of Balochistan are our valuable assets which can be utilized in the true sense of the word to increase employment opportunities and economic activities in the coastal areas.  Addressing the meeting to review the progress of development projects in the sector, the meeting was held through video link in view of Corona virus precautionary measures. Chief Secretary Fazil Asghar Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development Secretary Finance and Secretary Fisheries Evil in the meeting from their respective offices Stressing on the need to implement the plans for cage farming and landing jetties as soon as possible, the Chief Minister said that many countries of the world have increased their marine production through cage farming in the international market for marine products.  I have taken the lead and now they are strengthening their economy by earning a lot of foreign exchange. He said that the long coastline and climate of Balochistan are very suitable for cage farming while our beautiful coastline is also attractive for tourism.  Fill us with our natural resources to compensate for the economic losses of the corona virus The Chief Minister also directed the Fisheries Department to expedite the process of land acquisition from the Revenue Department for construction of landing jetties and cage farming and to attract the private sector. The Secretary Fisheries informed that the government is providing soft loan for coastal development projects and the provincial government has allocated Rs. 1500 million for bridge financing. He said that as per the guidance of the Chief Minister, federal and provincial funding projects for cage farming and landing jetties will be implemented soon.  Will be launched
