Funds of Rs. 50 b released for development during current FY so far: CM

The Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan has stated that funds of approximately Rs. 50 billion have so far been released on development account in the province during the current financial year, this is what manifestation of the successful development policy of the incumbent government.

He said that equal and balanced development of all districts of the province is part of our priorities as Rs. 2.5 billion to Rs. 3 billion have been allocated for development of each and every district in the current financial year’s budget.

He believed that the people of every districts would get better facilities with completion of the development projects in their respective districts.

This and similar views, the Chief Minister expressed while speaking to a representative delegation of Balochistan Awami Party Youth Wing from Tehsil Bela here on Friday.

The delegation was led by the President of Youth Wing, Parvez Umar and chairman Syed Hanif Shah.

The members of delegation apprised the Chief Minister about certain issues being faced by the people of their area besides thanking him on the ongoing development process there.

Jam Kamal said that other areas of the province are also dear to him like Lasbela and as such it is his endeavour to make all the districts developed.

He mentioned that the way Lasbela is being developed, the development work is continued in other districts of the province too.

The Chief Minister also said that the tendering process had been started with commencement of the current financial year and tenders of over 70 percent projects have so far been issued.

He also mentioned that the government is constructing around 2500 kilometer long roads across the province, which would not only make available the better transportation facilities in the remote areas but it would also help access the agriculture, sea and mineral products to market.

He on the occasion expressed his resolve to make Balochistan developed and prosperous province.
