Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan has chaired the progress review meeting of development projects of Balochistan Coastal Development Authority

BCDA is launching plans for seven tourist destinations on the coasts of Gwadar and Lasbela districts.

Briefing was given by DG BCDA Babar Khan he said that PC 1 of Rs.1075 million has been submitted in P&D and by approval of projects, Tourists will be attracted by providing resort hotels, jetties and water sports facilities at the coastal locations of Gwadar, Pasni, Kundamalir ,Daam and Gadani.

Baber khan said BCDA is utilizing available resources to promote Eco-tourism. Moreover Tree planting projects are also being launched in coastal areas.

In the meeting a detailed Briefing was rendered on wind and solar energy generation projects in coastal areas along with other development projects. It has been decided that Public-private partnerships will be used in the plans for the establishment and development of tourist centers. For this sn advertisement for private companies will be issued soon. It has also been informed and decided that Plans will also be made to set up restaurants and other facilities on the coastal highway.

A beach park at a cost of Rs. 250 million will also be set up in coastal areas, Master planning of coastal areas will be done

The ownership of land for construction projects of coastal tourist centers will be given to BCDA the meeting decided.

Chief Minister said that BCDA formulates an equity partnership plans with national and international firms based on land ownership. CM also directs In view of the impact of Corona virus on the economy, it is imperative for the province to develop its own resources, including the development of tourism.There will be a decline in overseas tourism and travel facilities for the next one year from Code-19.By developing tourist centers in coastal and other areas of Balochistan, the attention of domestic tourists can be obtained Chief Minister Balochistan conclude the meeting.
