A high-level meeting to review Corona situation and other related matters, headed by Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan, has been informed that as a result of government efforts, a month-long requirement of doctors and hospitals is underway.  Kits, masks and other protective equipment is available which will continue to be provided to doctors and hospitals in accordance with the SOP, to ensure the supply of PPE kits and other necessary equipment for the Gynae wards of hospitals at the meeting.  It was decided at the meeting, Corona virus in Turbat, Zhob, Naseerabad and Khuzdar It was also decided to provide PCR machines for K-test, while in Quetta, it was approved to increase the testing capacity by providing more PCR machines, to store LPG exported from Iran.  The issues related to the establishment of a gas storage station were also reviewed. The meeting was informed that tankers carrying LPG from Iran are transferred to local tankers, which is an unsafe method and provides consumers with lukewarm gas.  , Gas storage stations to reduce gas prices, the meeting decided that the federal government should investigate, say The LPG storage station in other districts will be contacted immediately and the Government of Balochistan will issue its NOC. The meeting also reviewed the project of Quarantine City containing pre-fab containers in Chaman and Tftan.  Expressing satisfaction over its progress, the Chief Minister expressed the view that the government is utilizing all resources for the prevention of corona virus, protection of doctors and para-medical staff working on the frontline.  A priority is to ensure that the supply of PPE kits is provided at the meeting, for the treatment of locust hearts.  After reviewing the ongoing action in different districts, it was decided that more funds would be allocated for this. Deputy Commissioners were instructed to continue spraying the locusts in the districts. Provincial Ministers Zamrak Khan Achakzai, Mir Zahoor Buledi, Mir Asad Baloch, Mir Arif Jan Mohammad Hussaini, Member Provincial Assembly Dr. Rababa Buledi, Secretary of the Departments concerned, DGPDMA and other officials attended the meeting.
