“BAP” has spirit to serve masses, says Jam Kamal
The President of Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) and Chief Minister, Jam Kamal Khan has stated that the BAP has the spirit to serve the general public. The party has put the entire province on path of development moving ahead successfully.
Special attention is being given on promotion of economic and business activities at the small scale. The provincial cabinet has approved the provision of interest-free loans to start the small entrepreneurship in collaboration with the Akhuwat Foundation.
The loaning programme is being started at cost of Rs. 1.6 billion in the province.
This and similar views were expressed by the Chief Minister while talking on occasion of visit of a Hindu temple in Jhal Magsi on Saturday.
The Hindu community invited the Chief Minister to visit their temple. Also present on the occasion was the Parliamentary Secretary for Minorities Affairs, Dhanesh Kumar and Hindu community elders from the area.
The Chief Minister on the occasion said that there is an important role of minorities in development of the province.
He said that a separate department has also been established for protection of rights of the minorities and their welfare in the province.
The Chief Minister said that the basic objective of the economic-social protection programme is to protect socio-economic rights of the people of province.
He said that it is responsibility of the government to protect basic rights of the people, which would be fulfilled at all cost.
The members of Hindu community on the occasion thanked the Chief Minister for the initiatives being taken for solution of the issues being faced by the community. They also hailed establishment of separate department for the minorities in province.
The Hindu community applauded the efforts of Dhanesh Kumar for wellbeing of the Hindus and other minorities saying that he is taking wholehearted steps in this regard.
The Chief Minister also gave patient hearing to the issues raised by the Hindus representatives and assured to resolve them at the earliest.
